
Search Direct, which launched in beta in the US today (24 March), has been designed to provide content for users in a faster and more efficient way.
Yahoo said it will deliver access to websites and answers to questions, before the user has pressed the search button or gone to a results page.
It will roll out the product to other Yahoo properties and markets before the end of the year.
In September last year, , which presents updated results as each letter of a search term is typed, reducing search time.
