Accessed via Yahoo!'s mobile web page, it delivers results with one search, instead of a series of web links to PC sites, to any mobile phone with a browser and internet access.
Users can click on an ad to go to an advertisers' mobile website or landing page to get additional information about the advertisers' offerings. Consumers will also be able to call the advertiser directly.
At launch, users will be able to search local listings with phone number, distance and ‘click to call' options as well as access services including news, finance and weather.
New content feeds will be added to the service over the coming months.
The service launched on the company's mobile web service in US in March.
