The Xfm Residency will feature a series of big name musicians who will take over the programme for a month at a time.
The Manic Street Preachers will take over the slot in May following Albarn's stint. They will be bringing their own musical tastes and collections to the airwaves, while also celebrating the release of their first new album in over a decade, 'Send Away the Tigers'.
Nick Davidson, managing director of the Xfm Network, said: "We are really excited to have Damon and The Manic Street Preachers guest DJing for Xfm. It is a fantastic opportunity for our listeners to hear the music that their music idols enjoy and are inspired by. It's great to be able to add this kind of expertise to our already strong line-up for specialist shows."
James Dean Bradfield, Manic Street Preachers' singer, said: "We are really excited about doing the Xfm Residency as although we have spent many hours in radio studios over the years this will be the first time that we have actually been handed the reins to chat about and play the music that we are passionate about."
The Xfm Residency commences on Sunday April 8 at 9pm. Albarn will be on air throughout April, on April 8, 15, 22 and 29, and The Manic Street Preachers will be on air throughout May, on the 6, 13, 20 and 27.
