LONDON - World Vision has appointed Mathew Neville as its director of marketing and fundraising.

Neville has been promoted to the role from his position as head of supporter development at the charity, the job he took on when he joined the charity in 2007.

Previously at Orange, where he led a marketing and product management team, Neville has also held positions at NatWest and Freeserve.

World Vision is a Christian charity and a key international relief and development agency, currently helping more than 100m people in nearly 100 countries to fight poverty, hunger and injustice, irrespective of their religious beliefs.

World Vision supporters currently sponsor 3.4m children.
