The arena will play host to the Western Classic Cheerleading and Dance Competition on 1 and 2 March 2014. Some of the country’s most talented squads will be in action during the event with an estimated 1,200 competitors to take part across the two days.

Derek Kent, BCA director, said: "We are incredibly excited to be bringing the BCA Western Classic to Westpoint Arena at the beginning of March. This is our final competition before the National Championships and typically attracts some of Britain’s best cheerleaders over the two-day event."

The BCA runs seven other similar events across the country such as the Southern and Northern Classic, which will be held in Eastbourne and Blackpool this year.
