The beauty brand is currently promoting its Black Opium fragrance with a branded pop-up at London’s Victoria Station (17-18 December), and it will travel to Westfield London over the weekend.

Expect free samples of the fragrance, as well as complimentary make-up touch-ups by members of the YSL beauty team. The brand is also hosting the Rock Your Selfie competition, where participants will be in with a chance to win a 30ml bottle of Black Opium.

Open until: 20 December

The fashion brand’s pop-up in London’s Carnaby district is complete with its range of graphic t-shirts, deconstructed leather jackets and dresses, and it plays host to live DJs every Thursday to Sunday.

The outlet also offers nail art experiences at its Black Nail Parlour, meanwhile those who step inside the Model Me Selfie Photobooth could be selected by Scout Models, or be in with a chance to win £250 to spend at Carnaby’s retail outlets and restaurants.

Open until: 7 January

Head to London’s Shoreditch High Street until next Tuesday (22 December), to view BBC One's bespoke 12-metre long mural, created by Allez Studio, Diabolical and Graffitilife. The artwork is a celebration of the return of the channel's crime drama, Luther.

It depicts the iconic skyline from the Luther credits, and includes a large illustration of the show's protagonist at its centre. Steel rods protrude outwards from Luther, who is played by Idris Elba, and text that reads "Are you scared of me? You should be" surrounds him.

On show until: 22 December

Embrace the holidays this weekend with a visit to Lush Cosmetics’ Oxford Street store, where its ground floor has been transformed into a pop-up, retro inspired cinema.

Expect free screenings of iconic Christmas films including  The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Elf, Home Alone and High Fidelity, as well as popcorn, beverages and other treats.

Open until: 24 December
