Weekender: Grey Goose pop up, Innocent's travelling supermarket and a cafe for dogs

This weekend (13-14 February) sees Grey Goose celebrate the BAFTAs with a film-themed pop-up, Innocent hit the road with its travelling supermarket, and the world's first MicroChippy open its doors.

A film themed pop-up by Grey Goose

The vodka brand is popping up within The Vaults room at London private members' club Home House to celebrate the BAFTAs. Le Bar des Étoiles will serve the brand’s specially created collection of Film Awards Season Cocktails, which are inspired by the nominated films, as well as canapés.

On the entertainment front, there will be BBC television coverage of the BAFTAs on mini-screens and a film inspired DJ set.

Innocent’s specially created travelling supermarket will embark on a tour to promote the brand’s super smoothies range from this weekend. The van will showcase the ingredients that are used to create the beverages, and brand ambassadors will be handing out samples of the products that comprise the range to passers-by.

The World’s first MicroChippy

Dogs Trust will unveil its two-day MicroChippy pop-up over the weekend, which allows dog-lovers to dine with their four-legged friends. The dog welfare charity is working with hot dog and champagne specialists Bubbledogs to devise a unique menu that includes a dog-friendly hotdog, as well as dishes for humans. Three ticketed 45-minute sittings will be held each day, so get in quick.

Virgin Trains is hosting a unique speed dating experience for 24 singles aboard one of its locomotives on Valentine’s Day. The event, to be hosted by First Dates' Fred Sirieix, will see participants change seats throughout their trip, enabling them to mingle with one another and potentially find love. The train will depart London's King's Cross station for York, only to return the same day.
