The Grey Goose Boulangerie François Terrasse offers a summer-themed martini cocktail collection, which has been made using each of the brand’s flavoured vodka varieties.
A menu comprising mini patisseries and tarts, which are made from the same fruits as the flavoured vodkas, have been specially designed to complement the cocktails.
The terrace, which is designed to transport guests to the glitz and glamour of the French riviera, is popping up on the fifth floor of Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge store until 6 September.
The venue is complete with a Grey Goose Boulangerie Bar. It is hosting martini masterclasses every Thursday at both 6pm and 7.30pm, enabling attendees to perfect their cocktail making skills.
Harvey Nichols' fourth floor terrace in Edinburgh has also been converted, and it will similarly remain in operation until 6 September. The Manchester terrace opened on 31 July and closed its doors yesterday (6 August).
Grey Goose also brought its French bakery camionnette delivery van, Boulangerie François, to the Edinburgh store in June, and Manchester from 31 July until yesterday (6 August). The van is complete with an art installation display of Grey Goose artisan breads, and it serves bread products that are made of the same ingredients as Grey Goose vodka.
François Thibault, French Maître de Chai at Cognac, and creator of the Grey Goose recipe, said: "In the beginning, I was considered a maverick, even an eccentric, for trying to make vodka in historic Cognac, France, from wheat no less. There were many naysayers and sceptics, and all were waiting for me to fail, but I knew I could prove them wrong and create a product that tasted unlike anything available.
"I’ve worked hard to create a spirit of outstanding quality and character. It is the world’s best because it is made like no other and feels exceptionally smooth in a dry martini or in other cocktails."
Other vodka brands popping up this summer include:
- Cîroc - launched a by the River Thames.
- Ketel One Vodka - opened the within London venue The Folly.
