Star Wars at Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds London launched its new Star Wars experience on Wednesday (13 May) with TV, film and sports personalities including Joey Essex, Lydia Bright and James Argent of The Only Way is Essex and illusionist Dynamo. The experience features 11 atmospheric scenes, which recreate iconic moments from the Star Wars films. Created in collaboration with Disney and Lucasfilm, the experience opens on Saturday (16 May). A similar, but smaller-scale experience has also opened at Madame Tussauds Berlin.

Paragon - One Live Partner launch

To celebrate the hosted a poolside party at the Haymarket Hotel in Piccadilly on Wednesday (13 May). Celebrity attendees included English former cricketer Phil Tuffnell, Strictly Come Dancing dancer Natalie Lowe and sports broadcaster Ed Chamberlain.

Building Six at The O2 - Ibiza Docks

Last night (14 May) saw The O2 celebrate the relaunch of its 700-capacity outdoor terrace at Building Six, with an event dubbed Ibiza Docks. More than 200 guests enjoyed an evening filled with Ibiza beach club vibes, while exploring the new look outdoor terrace.

Guests were greeted on arrival with jam jar cocktails courtesy of Peppermint Bars and festival-inspired name badges before heading to the terrace. A street food avenue designed by Light Motif awaited them, featuring three food stalls and an interactive light bulb installation that reacted to tweets referencing #IbizaDocks.

The Waldorf Project: Chapter Three/Futuro feat. Hendrick’s Gin

Artist Sean Rogg revealed the third chapter of The Waldorf Project during a preliminary performance within a tunnel near London’s King's Cross station on Wednesday (13 May). 

Performers dressed in black summoned guests down an escalator, at which point they entered an immersive sci-fi space. Over the course of the evening, five different Hendrick’s-based concoctions were served in unique ways. The event was interspersed with acting, dance and music.

Yesterday (14 May), biscuit brand Go Ahead gave Londoners a chance to giggle themselves healthy with The Go Ahead Laughter Yoga Studio at White Space, Leicester Square.

The groups were tasked to get their laughter levels to a high enough decibel on the Go Ahead laugh-o-meter. All sessions were free for attendees and run by laughter yoga expert Melanie Bloch.
