Website launches consumer beauty brands for discount prices

LONDON - A consumer beauty testing programme is being launched in the UK which will allow women to try out famous brands worth at least 拢400 a year for an 拢80 subscription.

The testing programme 'BrandNewYouTube' is the first of its kind in Europe, and is supported by L'Oreal, Nivea, Elizabeth Arden and other major cosmetic companies.

BrandNewYouTube will be mailed to subscribers four times a year and will contain a minimum of £80 worth of products in each tube. Subscribers pay £80 a year and will receive approximately £400 worth of beauty products.

Kay Wood, development manager for BrandNewYouTube, said: "This is an exciting opportunity for women across the UK to test the latest skin creams and anti-ageing treatments for just a fraction of their retail price. The programme has already attracted support from some of the biggest names in beauty".

Users can subscribe to BrandNewYouTube via the or from the pages of Brand New You magazine, published by Merricks Media, which launches on May 24, at a reduced launch price of £1.99.
