The appointment makes Beasley the second high-profile hiring of the year at WDMP, having appointed Gary Sharpen, the founder of Sharpen Troughton Owens and Leonardo, as its first executive creative director.
Beasley, who was responsible for leading digital development at DraftFCB across the agency's accounts with Motorola, General Motors and Oxfam, will now work with WDMP's client list, which includes COI, Betfair and Envirowise.
He is also credited with helping to establish TBWA\GGT's digital division, supporting client work for Vauxhall, Prudential and News International, and is a former producer at Wheel.
Gavin Wheeler, managing director at WDMP, said: "As consumers increasingly demand brands interact with them online, it is imperative as an agency that we continue to invest in our digital offering."
