Visit Scotland ties up with Crabbie's wine

LONDON - Visit Scotland is to promote tourism in Scotland via a Crabbie's Green Ginger Wine on-pack promotion, offering a stay in a five-star hotel in the North East of the country as first prize.

The Scottish Tourist Board said 50,000 bottles of Crabbie's Green Ginger Wine would have neck tags, inviting consumers to enter a competition to win a two-night stay at the five-star Marcliffe Hotel in the North East of Scotland and a round of golf at the Murcar links.

The promotional bottles will retail in Tesco, Waitrose and Asda across the UK until September 30.

Entrants will automatically receive a free booklet containing money-off vouchers and details of tourist attractions across Scotland for the duration of the promotion.

A spokeswoman for said the Crabbie's wine promotion tied in with the Scottish Tourist Board's campaign to promote holiday destinations in the country over the spring and summer.
