Virgin.net teams up with LA Fitness for user drive

LONDON - Virgin.net has teamed up with fitness chain LA Fitness to drive user registrations.

The deal involves distributing Virgin.net registration CDs across 55 LA Fitness health clubs nationwide to more than 125,000 club members.

The CD, branded with the LA Fitness logo, offers users a choice of different Virgin.net packages such as Pay-As-You-Go and 24seven.

The partnership between Virgin.net and LA Fitness will be promoted in the Virgin.net fortnightly email newsletter. Virgin.net customers will also be eligible for special membership and product offers at the health clubs.

Peter Tuomey, Virgin.net sales and marketing director, said: "LA Fitness customers have a lot in common with Virgin.net in terms of brand and customer profile."
