Virgin Mobile extends content deal with InfoSpace

LONDON - Virgin Mobile has extended its agreement with mobile entertainment provider InfoSpace for its mobile content portal and storefront, Virgin Mobile Bites.

The mobile network provider said lengthening its deal with InfoSpace would mean that the company would be able to enhance search and advertising functions for Virgin Mobile Bites' subscribers.

Nick White, head of digital services at Virgin Mobile, said: "Customers should expect to see a renewed dedication towards entertaining and informative content services as a result of this deal.

"Our subscriber base is among the most entertainment-savvy and so it is essential that we deliver fun and easily accessible mobile content."

White added that Virgin Mobile had chosen to continue working with InfoSpace because it shared its values of creating a personable mobile service for customers.
