During the Games the Irish Olympic House, which is open to the public, will feature a number of Irish performers including The Original Rude Boys, Hammerstep and Mick Flannery.
There will also be appearances by celebrity ambassadors ranging from McGuigan to comedian Dara O'Brien and actor Ardal O'Hanlan.
"We have created a programme at the Irish Olympic House that has a real London Irish feel to it, which we believe will engage and entertain both the local Irish supporters and those visiting the capital of the Games," explained Stephen Hickey, project manager for the Irish House.
