The Christmas advertising season is officially underway with the launch of Very.co.uk's charming animated spot about how one young heroine follows her dreams.

After receiving a toy astronaut helmet from her parents for Christmas, Elsie’s interest in the universe and space travel grows, eventually taking her to university where she studies astrophysics. The ad ends with her aged parents staring up into the stars, knowing their daughter is fulfilling her dreams as an astronaut. "Find the gift that helps them find their gift," the strapline concludes. The work was written by Hannah Williamson, art directed by Joanne Boyle and directed by AgainstAllOdds through Passion Animation Studios.
