The online database generated £5.3m worth of business in 2009, compared to £4.2m in 2008, by placing venue hire, event and catering bookings into Crown Group venues.
The largest proportion of these - 60% - were for conferences, with 15% each for meetings and award ceremonies/gala dinners, 5% for Christmas parties and 5% for reception and networking events.
Charles Beer, CEO of the Crown Group said: "The amount of revenue Venue Reservations has generated is outstanding, especially when you take into consideration the difficult economic climate of 2009 which led to some companies not holding events."
