Venue Reservations showcases are traditionally only available to partner venues (i.e. those that either Kudos Hospitality or Seasoned Events had contracts with), but for the first time this October it has been opened up to venues where listings are held too.
So far Venue Reservations has confirmed 30 exhibitors and has received more than 300 guest acceptances. It is expecting a further 300 guests to confirm before the end of September, taking visitor numbers up by 140%.
"Scaled down venue showcases with varied exhibitors are proving popular with organisers as they can go to them in-between the larger annual exhibitions. Organisers can spend an evening visiting a number of venue and supplier stands in one location and discuss requirements without it taking anything out of a working day," explained Crown Group development director Jackie Harding.
Venues making their début at the October showcase include the Bloomsbury Ballroom, Supreme Court and Swarovski Crystallized Lounge.
The showcase will be the first exhibition to be held at the Royal Courts of Justice since Seasoned won sole caterer status at the venue.
