The England women’s team will take on Japan in the semi-finals of the World Cup tonight.
101 London created an ad that shows a boy lining up to take a shot on a goal. It reads, "2015: The year boys all over England score goals in their gardens, whilst pretending they’re called Lucy."
Lucy Bronze is the England footballer who scored the winning goal to get them through to the semi-finals.
The ad is featured today in The Sun, The Daily Express, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and The Times.
It was created by Ben Williams and designed by Tanya Holbrook.
101 London’s partner Ross Farquhar said: "The England team making it to the semi final is a meteoric achievement, and it’s truly capturing the country’s imagination.
"As sponsor and supporter of Home Nations football, we wanted to help Vauxhall show its support in a way that reflected the spirit that’s surrounded this World Cup.
"We’ll all be up late watching and hoping the story doesn’t end here."
