Itch has developed concepts for the two showcase events during the trip, ‘Fire and Ice’ and ‘Twisted Circus’. The events will feature the latest in pyrotechnics and projection mapping alongside the headline acts: Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank, Krafty Kuts, A.Skillz, White Lies and The Correspondents.
The trip was founded in 1922 to facilitate the blues ski races between Oxford and Cambridge. It has since become the largest student-run snow sports event in the world, and will take around 3,000 students to Val Thorens between 1-8 December 2012.
Mike White, managing director of Itch, said: "We are delighted to begin a partnership with the Varsity Trip committee to deliver the two showcase events for the biggest student snow sports event in Europe."
