Pollock spent four years in the Sydney Opera House’s marketing team, responsible for digital content and social media strategies. Since moving to London last year, he has held contracts with music content specialists LoveLive and Base79.
Pollock said: "Itch has a track record for creating unique experiences that connect brands to their audiences in meaningful and authentic ways. These experiences are rich in content opportunities and can be amplified via a range of digital platforms, applications and social networks. I am looking forward to contributing to its portfolio of great work."
Mike White, managing director of Itch, said the appointment is a "deliberate drive" to broaden the agency's expertise.
"It’s an exciting time for experiential and due to the impact of social media and other exciting developments in the digital world we believe in brand engagement rather than just amplification. Anthony will bring his unique skills into an already creative and innovative agency."
