The deal will see content from USAToday.com feature across the search engine and portal. Yahoo! already features content from sources such as Reuters, Associated Press and the New York Times.
USAToday.com will supply news, reviews, columns and features from its news, money, sports, life and technology sections, to appear on the corresponding Yahoo! areas.
It is the first such agreement USAToday.com has signed, providing in-depth content to a site other than its own.
The deal comes in a month when Yahoo! has been frantically signing agreements and making partnerships as it seeks to shift from its advertising-driven revenue model to generating revenues from other sources.
Earlier this month alone, Yahoo! signed deals with Arnold MPG for advertising sales and Espotting for paid-for searches.
