US B2B marketer of the year headlines IDM event

LONDON – The keynote speech at the IDM's 2005 B2B Marketing Conference on February 22 will be given by Richard Rosen, the US B2B marketer of the year, speaking in the UK for the first time.

Rosen has promised to bring the best of business-to-business marketing from the US and present his new model for business-boosting brand interaction.

The conference takes place at Earl's Court Conference Centre alongside the International Direct Marketing Fair. It is sponsored by Information Arts, Royal Mail, Wegener Direct Marketing, Meteorite, Experian, Dun & Bradstreet and supported by the IDM's B2B Council.

It will feature previously unpublished research into the UK B2B marketplace and a new expert panel, chaired by Professor Merlin Stone.

Speakers from organisations including IBM, PC World, Nokia, Google, Oracle and O2 will deliver case studies to an expected 200 delegates. The programme incorporates two streams: "digital marketing on a tight budget" and "demand generation and customer management".

Joanna King, director of professional short courses at the IDM, said: "The over-long waiting list from last year was proof positive that the B2B marketing community is hungry for an annual injection of the latest research, strategies and practices in B2B marketing."

Tickets cost £495 excluding VAT for IDM members and £545 excluding VAT for non-members. Delegates booking before January 31 are eligible for a £50 discount, while those paying for two delegates get the third free.

Pre-registration and the full programme can be found at the IDM's .
