The content is headed for UKTV's Gold, Dave, Watch and Yesterday channels and will air from August 1.
Yesterday will show all 17 drama titles acquired from Channel 4, which include 'Hamburg Cell', 'The Camomile Lawn' and 'Anna Karenina'.
Most of the comedy output, including the first two series of 'Green Wing' and the first two series of 'Vic Reeves - Big Night Out', will air on comedy channel Gold.
Joining BBC shows such as 'Top Gear' and 'QI' on male-focused channel Dave will be the first three series of 'Black Books', 'Star Stories' and 'Smack the Pony'.
The content deal follows speculation that UKTV will end up as part of the mooted Channel 4/BBC Worldwide merger.
UKTV was founded in 1997 as a 50:50 joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Telewest, a predecessor of cable TV company Virgin Media.
Keith Porritt, executive director commercial at UKTV, said of the content deal: "These arrangements open up a new content stream that complements the many popular titles we acquire from the BBC and our own growing stable of high profile commissions.
"It augments the non-linear opportunities opening up to our new-look multiplatform channel brands."
