Cadbury in Dave TV and web tie

Cadbury has signed a deal with UKTV channel Dave to sponsor its weekend evening schedule and develop online content.

The tie-up runs for a year from Saturday (13 June) and spans programming between 7pm and 12.30am on Saturdays and Sundays.

Idents will feature Cadbury's Double Decker, Boost and Crunchie chocolate bars. The creative focuses on a comic trying to write sketches based around the products, book-ending shows including QI, Top Gear, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Argumental.

The sponsorship, which was brokered by IDS and Drum, the sponsorship division of PHD, will also include a series of short films, produced by UKTV and Drum. The films, created by Fallon, will air on the Dave website and YouTube. They will feature a line-up of comedians and Dave show presenters acting out scenes inspired by the chocolate bars.

The first series of clips will break in July, with fresh material to follow during the year-long sponsorship. The online films will also be developed with regular new content.
