The popular chat show, a consistent ratings winner for BBC1, will be made available on BBC America, BBC Canada, UKTV in New Zealand, and the BBC Entertainment feeds across Latin America, Scandinavia and Africa.
In the US, 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' will premiere on BBC America on 12 June, with the distinctly US-biased episode 18, which airs in the UK tomorrow.
It features interviews with Oscar-winning actor Dustin Hoffman, along with Hugh Laurie, currently starring in the US TV show House, and footballer-turned-actor Eric Cantona. Music will be provided by US indie rock band Gossip.
The remaining territories will air the same show under the name, The Jonathan Ross Show, beginning with BBC Canada on 19 June, UKTV on 17 July, Latin America's feed on 30 July, and the Scandinavia and Africa feeds of from 31 July.
David Weiland, senior vice-president of programming at BBC Worldwide Channels, said he was "thrilled" by the new acquisition.
He added: "Showing the best of British talent to the rest of the world is absolutely what our international channels are all about, and I'm sure that the show will prove as popular with international audiences as it has done in the UK."
The deal follows yesterday's announcement that the BBC plans to move Graham Norton's chat show to a prime-time slot on BBC1, leading to speculation that Ross's £6m salary could be cut.
'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' has been a favourite on UK screens since it launched on BBC1 in 2001.
Formed in 2005, BBC Worldwide Channels is one of seven BBC Worldwide businesses.
