The deal works the other way as well, allowing users to share Twitter posts with their LinkedIn network by adding the ‘in' hashtag to tweets on the microblogging site. Users can also import their Twitter stream into their LinkedIn profile so it displays a list of recent tweets.
The partnership, which will be the first of several between Twitter and LinkedIn, looks set to help the social network for professionals to boost its 51 million global users by providing a significant amount of fresh content to the site.
