Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO will handle the company's speciality teas while will take on the duties for Options and Ovaltine.

Adam & Eve will work on the launch of the company's Everyday Tea - a competitor to brands such as PG Tips and Yorkshire Tea.

The account, which was previously handled by Lowe London, came up for review in May. The agency, which picked up the business in 2005, declined to re-pitch.

The process was overseen by Twinings marketing director, Claire Hodge who said: Our review has been an exciting and collaborative process and all agencies will bring something very valuable to the table. We’re very much looking forward to working with each in developing strategic and creative work in what will be a new era for the Twinings brand.
