The new service, called Livewire, aggregates the tweets of UK MPs, as well as the tweets of political journalists, commentators and news sources, from mainstream media to blogs.
Livewire also filters relevant tweets around trending topics and can filter tweets by politician, party and source.
It also acts as a Twitter client, allowing users to interact with all the various feeds, tweet and view the posts of those they follow.
Alberto Nardelli, co-founder of Tweetminster, said: "We are bringing people closer to politicians and to the heart of political debate, helping politicians and politics to become more approachable, open, and social."
Users can log into Livewire using their Twitter login. The free service includes insight and analytical tools to measure and view the occurrence of terms over time and understand the sentiment around issues, real-time trends and popular links.
Jimmy Leach, editorial director for digital at The Independent, said: "This is a great step forward in aggregating the latest whispers from the corridors of power and influence.
"Tweetminster have developed a fantastic system for eavesdropping on the great and the not-so-good and our users and fellow twitterers can now engage and involve themselves.
"It's a very exciting project."
