This will be the first Ideal Home Show organised by its new owners , which had run it for more than 100 years.
At the show Perry is set to present the latest in consumer gadgetry, participate in seminars and review the latest technology in the How To Theatre.
Perry added: "I am extremely excited to be involved in an event that will bring gadgets and technology to life, showing its visitors some of the latest and best domestic gadgetry round, it's going to be a lot of fun."
Now a 17-day event it will now provide eight sections for visitors. These will be Ideal Home Improvements; Ideal Village; Ideal Food; Ideal Gardens; Ideal Shopping; Ideal Woman; Ideal Home Gadgets; and Ideal Interiors.
