McCann NY gathers some of the most beloved pretend physicians from TV history for new campaign

Legendary TV doctors take a break from office romance and fake surgeries to recommend regular checkups, in a new campaign for Cigna healthcare from McCann New York. Alan Alda of "M*A*S*H," Patrick "McDreamy" Dempsey of "Grey’s Anatomy," Donald Faison of "Scrubs," Noah Wyle of "E.R." and Lisa Edelstein of "House" star as themselves, bumbling through the kinds of situations that real doctors handle and encouraging viewers to visit one of those real doctors for an annual checkup. The spots are part of Cigna’s effort to increase the use of preventive healthcare services and debuted Thursday on TV and online.
