augments more basic email bulletins sent out by the charity, which stopped producing paper-based newsletter last year.
The digital magazine was created in partnership with TPC, which is focused on sourcing and producing entertainment content for media clients' consumer promotions.
The magazine uses the Clik Pages technology platform, allowing it to feature animation, audio and video.
The first issue features a special audio piece from the charity's patron and Magic FM DJ, Neil Fox.
Joe Chown, marketing manager for Trees for Cities, said: "Our more traditional email updates are great for short bullet point updates but don't allow for the more in-depth communications we want to have with our supporters.
"The digital magazine is not only more environmentally friendly than our old paper-based newsletter but it is also more dynamic as it allows video and audio."
