The budget hotel chain, which recently relaunched its website as a 'one-stop shop', has split into two divisions, entitled Travelodge UK and Travelodge International and Development.
Travelodge chief operating officer Guy Parsons has been appointed managing director of the UK arm, which operates 325 hotels. The division is to add a further 200 hotels and redesign its interiors to capitalise on demand during London 2012.
The marketing department will be led by senior marketing manager Steve Welham.
Property development director Paul Harvey will become managing director of the international division. Maribel Rodriguez will head its marketing team.
