Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Magnus Djaba, Fallon's managing director, as the chief executive of its London agency. Djaba will move to Fallon’s sister agency Saatchi & Saatchi in November following the departure of Michael Rebelo, Saatchi & Saatchi London’s managing director, who is leaving to become the chief executive of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia. Guy Hayward, the chief executive of JWT UK, is leaving the agency two years after taking the job. Hayward is expected to join the Havas-owned BETC in a global business development position, but contracts have yet to be finalised. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Beattie McGuinness Bungay has hired the TV producer Jay Pond-Jones as a creative director. Pond-Jones will combine his BMB role with his ongoing position as the chief executive of the TV production company Colour TV. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

EHS 4D has appointed Andy Buist as client services director and Nick Corston as business development director, following recent management changes at the agency. Buist joins the agency as client services director from digital agency Profero, where he held the same position. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Gary Digby, the former group commercial director of ITV, is understood to be in talks with Channel 4's new sales director Jonathan Allan about joining the broadcaster as a consultant, ahead of the autumn TV trading season.

Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has parted company with its director of media solutions Daniel Best, who has been at the publisher for two and a half years. Best had responsibility for sales and commercial activity across TMG's multimedia operations including TV, digital, telecoms and print.

AOL Europe chief Kate Burns is to leave the company next month and will be replaced by Rene Rechtman, as head of Europe for Advertising.com, and Jimmy Maymann, as head of media outside North America.

Hello! magazine has appointed Charlotte Broadbent, marketing manager at Coty Prestige, to the newly created role of executive fashion and beauty director. Broadbent will report to Hello! publishing director Charlotte Stockting.

The Professional Publishers Association (PPA), the body for UK magazine publishers, has appointed former IPC leader James Papworth as its first marketing director in three years.

Marketing

PepsiCo has appointed former Electrolux chief executive, Enderson Guimaraes, as the new president of its global operations, effective from October. Guimaraes replaces Richard Goodman, who is retiring after 17-years with the company.

Aviva has promoted Anne Filatotchev to a broader UK marketing director role following the departure of Gary Price in June. Aviva has changed the role Price held for 18 months to include responsibility for a new department dedicated to customer research and analysis, and customer data and analytics.

Simon Eyles, head of brand marketing at Asda, is leaving the retailer for the top marketing job at Taylors of Harrogate, which owns the Yorkshire Tea brand. Eyles, who has been with the supermarket since 2009, will join Taylors next year as marketing director.

Lingerie brand Boux Avenue, owned by 'Dragons' Den' star Theo Paphitis, has appointed former French Connection marketing and PR director Lorna Perrin to its newly-created marketing director role.
