IPA's Hamish Pringle returns to agency life and Microsoft's Ashley Highfield joins Johnston Press, in BR's round-up of this week's people moves in advertising, marketing and media.

MCHI, the CHI & Partners and Group M joint venture, has hired Martyn Stokes, the head of communications strategy at MPG Media Contacts, as its chief strategy officer. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Leo Burnett's executive creative director, Justin Tindall, has recruited his former creative partner Adam Tucker as the agency's creative director. Tucker, who has been working on a freelance basis, most recently as the acting executive creative director at M&C Saatchi, will join Leo Burnett next month. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Albion London has hired the former Saatchi & Saatchi copywriter Michael Campbell as a creative director, as part of a revamp of the agency's creative offering. He joins this month and will report to executive creative director, Nick Darken. During his career, Campbell has worked for several agencies, including JWT London and Mojo New Zealand. Profero has appointed Buster Dover, the former head of digital at VCCP, as its managing director. The appointment is the first major change that Dale Gall has made to Profero's management team since he took over as its chief executive. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has hired Ken Hoggins, the long-standing creative director on Waitrose, to head creative on the £25m account. Hoggins previously worked at MCBD, which handled the business and recently merged with Dare. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

JWT London has hired CHI & Partners' Dave Masterman, one half of the creative team responsible for the Drench "cubehead" spot, as a creative director. He joins the agency early next month and will report to the executive creative director, Russell Ramsey. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

G2 Worldwide has promoted Martin Patmore to the new role of regional chief executive of G2 Asia Pacific. Patmore will be responsible for the agency across nine countries. He will report to G2 Worldwide's chairman and chief executive, Joe Celia, and will also sit on the G2 global management board. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

Rapier has poached Engine's client managing director Lauren Ince to head up its account-handling department. Ince will join in September and report to chief executive Jonathan Stead. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

 

Media

Johnston Press has appointed Ashley Highfield, former vice-president of Microsoft UK's consumer and online division, to replace John Fry as its chief executive. Highfield joined Microsoft in January 2009, to head up the consumer and online division in the UK, which has just become defunct due to a global restructure at the company.

Adconion, the online advertising company, has appointed Maria Cadbury as general manager of Joost, its online video platform. Cadbury will report to Matt Hunt, Adconion Media Group's UK managing director and will lead the Joost team as it develops from a video network to a broadcast platform for content and video.

Marketing

Online takeaway ordering service Just-Eat.com has appointed Richard Murfitt, head of marketing communications at O2, as head of brand marketing. (Marketing)

Coca-Cola has promoted Beatriz Perez, the company's chief sustainability officer, to the position of vice-president, after less than two months in her current role. (Marketing)

Ford of Britain has promoted Anthony Ireson to the position of marketing director, following the appointment of new UK managing director Mark Ovenden. Ireson, formerly head of dealer operations, replaces Mark Simpson, who is to lead the sales office in Ford Russia, following the creation of a new joint venture between Ford and Russian manufacturer Sollers.
