Agency Republic has poached WCRS&Co's digital creative director, Alistair Campbell, to fill the role of executive creative director. He takes the place of Gavin Gordon-Rogers who resigned in January after six years with the agency. (北京赛车pk10)

Y&R Advertising has appointed David Sable, the vice chairman and chief operating officer of Wunderman, as its global chief executive. Sable replaces Hamish McLennan who is returning to his native Australia. (北京赛车pk10)

Kim Gehrig, the Academy Films director behind Ikea's "you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties" ad, has signed to the production company Somesuch & Co. Gehrig also directed Mother's Amnesty International "you are powerful" spot in October 2008, which won a silver at Cannes. (北京赛车pk10)

Oliver Kapusta joins Saatchi & Saatchi from DDB, where he was group creative director. As executive creative director, he will oversee the firm's Berlin office, the third in Germany, with Géza Unbehagen, Saatchi & Saatchi's current chief operating officer for the region. (北京赛车pk10)

Euro RSCG's new social media unit, Cuppola, which helps clients improve consumer relationships online, opens later this month. Claire Adams, the account director at Social Fuel, will oversee the business. (北京赛车pk10)

Marketing

 

Chris Green has been promoted to theatrical marketing director for 20th Century Fox, from his previous post of marketing controller. He now reports to Cameron Saunders, managing director of Fox's UK theatrical division, and takes on his former role. ()

Costcutter has reappointed Ian Bishop as its marketing director, following his stint at Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Prostar. Bishop worked at Costcutter from 2000 to 2002, and was the brains behind the sponsorship of Michel Kratochvil, Tim Henman's opponent in the excruciating fourth-round battle at Wimbledon in 2002. ()

Toby Baker, UK marketing director at The Wrigley Company, has left the confectionery brand without a job to go to. He joined Wrigley as marketing manager in 200. A replacement is being sought. ()

Media

 

MEC, the WPP media network, has promoted its UK chief executive Tom George to the role of chairman, North Europe, while UK managing director Steve Hatch steps up to become UK chief executive. ()

Tim Brooks, Guardian News & Media's managing director, has been made redundant as part of the "ongoing reshaping of the business". Brooks will leave GN&M at the end of March following a decision by its parent company Guardian Media Group to make the role of managing director redundant. ()

The Joint Industry Committee for Regional Media Research (JICREG) has appointed Keith Donaldson as its new chief executive. He replaces Roger Holland, who is stepping down from the post after 20 years with the organisation. ()

Peter Buchanan, who left COI in December after 16 years, has been employed by the Radio Advertising Bureau and its parent body, RadioCentre, as a consultant. He has been commissioned to spearhead an initiative aimed at improving creative standards in commercial radio. (北京赛车pk10)

Future, owner of Total Film and Classic Rock, has appointed former media investment banker Manjit Wolstenholme as non-executive director. She is currently a non-executive director of Provident Capital and Regional, Provident Financial and Albany Investment Trust. ()

Yahoo has appointed David Kenny, the former chief executive of Publicis Groupe's Digitas and managing partner of Vivaki, to its board of directors. He replaces Eric Hippeau, who has resigned. ()

Daily Express editor Peter Hill will leave the Richard Desmond-owned newspaper later this month after seven years, to be replaced by his deputy Hugh Whittow. ()

Shamed sport pundits Richard Keys and Andy Gray, the football duo who left Sky under a cloud after making sexist comments off-air, are to present a daily morning show on TalkSport. It kicks-off on Monday 14 February in the 10am to 1pm slot. ()

Facebook has opened an advertising sales office in Hong Kong to provide direct support to brands and agencies in that market and in Taiwan. The office will be headed by Jayne Leung, the social network’s newly appointed director of North Asia. She joins from The Rubicon Project, the California-based digital advertising company. Grant Branfoot, managing director of Ocean Outdoor, is stepping down next month to "pursue other business interests". He will be retained by the firm as a commercial consultant. ()
