Following a merry-go-round of media owner jobs in January, agencies stepped up this week to provide some interesting people news, as BR rounds up the industry moves in advertising, marketing and media.

Euro RSCG London has hired Albion creative director André Moreira as creative director and head of art. Moreira will join the agency at the beginning of February. (北京赛车pk10)

Euro RSCG has also moved to strengthen its global creative resource, with the hiring of the Ogilvy & Mather creative partner Alasdair Graham as the global executive creative director on its Reckitt Benckiser business. News of Graham's hiring follows Euro RSCG's appointment of Lee Garfinkel as its chief creative officer of global brands earlier this week. (北京赛车pk10)

Marketing

 

Audi has appointed former World Gold Council marketer Philip Olden as its interim marketing head while a permanent replacement is found for Peter Duffy. Duffy, who held the role of marketing director at Audi UK, will take up the post of marketing director at easyJet next month. ()

Media

 

Laura Klauberg, senior vice-president of global media at Unilever, is retiring from the company at the end of March. Klauberg will "take a short break before pursuing other opportunities". (北京赛车pk10)

Chris Maples, commercial director for Microsoft Advertising, has left the company with immediate effect, to spend more time with his family. Maples joined Microsoft from Maiden Outdoor (now Titan) in May 2007 as managing director of its network business. (北京赛车pk10)

Carat has hired Zoe Bale to fill the newly created position of press planning director with a view to introducing greater levels of creativity into its press activity. Her appointment strengthens Carat's press team following the promotion of the press director, Dominic Williams, to the role of print director across Aegis Media. (北京赛车pk10)

Corporate barter company Astus UK has renamed itself Astus Group and has restructured its executive team to lead a process of international expansion. Astus UK chief executive Frances Dickens has become chief executive of Astus Group. In addition, Astus UK managing director Paul Jackson has been appointed chief operating officer of the newly formed group. ()

Bauer Media has promoted Darren Khan to the role of commercial director, Bauer Access, in addition to his role as TV sales director. Khan will report to head of broadcast and Bauer Access, Karen Stacey. ()

IGN, the video games and entertainment network, has appointed Shivali Ramanandi to the role of film sales manager, as it moves to double its commercial team. Shivali joins IGN from Bauer Media. ()
