LONDON - From PepsiCo to Posterscope, Brand Republic rounds up the major industry moves across the advertising, marketing and media markets.

Carolyn Carter, the chief executive of Grey Group EMEA, is to step down from her role after more than 20 years at the network. Carter is expected to leave by the end of the year. While plans for her successor have yet to be finalised, it is understood that David Patton, the chief executive of Grey UK Group, is in line to replace her, while Chris Hirst, the UK managing director, is favourite to take Patton's role. Aegis Media's out-of-home agency Posterscope has promoted group managing director to group chief operating officer and group deputy managing director Glen Wilson to group managing director. Bond will continue to report to Posterscope chief executive Annie Rickard in his new role. ()

PepsiCo UK and Ireland president has been promoted to the role of executive vice-president, sales and marketing, leaving a legacy of product innovation and anti-obesity and carbon-reduction initiatives. Amin, who had been in the role for four years, focused on improving health credentials across PepsiCo's brand portfolio, which includes Walkers and Tropicana. ()

Sara Lee Household & Body Care UK has hired Unilever global category vice-president as its interim-marketing director, ahead of a possible sale of the company. Moore has been awarded only a short-term, six-month contract due to the UK business' uncertain future, according to a spokeswoman for Sara Lee Household & Body Care UK. ()

Omnicom-owned media network PHD has appointed the former TBWA\Manchester chief executive Robert Harwood-Matthews as the executive vice-president of its PHD West operations and managing director of its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

, chief operating officer of Global Radio, is leaving the company at the end of the month without a job to go to. Thomson was commercial and operations director at Chrysalis and joined Global Radio following its acquisition of Chrysalis in 2007. It is understood that his role at the company will not be replaced. ()

Martin Reidy, the worldwide chief executive of Publicis Modem and Publicis Dialog, is leaving to join Meredith Publishing as the president of integrated marketing. (±±¾©Èü³µpk10)

, deputy managing director of BLM Quantum, is moving to a new role within the Havas Digital network amid a continuing group restructure in the UK. Krichefski will become global director of client development for Havas Digital, which incorporates brands Quantum, Media Contacts and Mobext in the UK. ()

Judy Mitchem, the managing partner at Arnold UK, is leaving the agency without a job to go to, just over a year after joining the network. Mitchem joined the UK office in July 2008 as the third founding partner alongside the former Nitro global executive creative director, Paul Shearer, and Nitro's ex-managing director, Johan Fourie. Global Radio has lured Mindshare's business director, , away from the agency world to take on a new role as client strategist at the UK's largest commercial radio group. From 21 October, Schrier will join Global's commercial department where she will be responsible for developing strategies for both clients and agencies. ()

Primesight has taken on following completion of its £6m acquisition of Titan's roadside inventory. Primesight now has 133 permanent staff, up from 80 before the deal. Titan employees to move over include Kieron Murphy, former national sales controller, Cy Chambers, who runs operations in Scotland, Roy Oliver, who is in charge of London sales, and development director Graeme Hughes. ()

UTV Pitch, the sales outfit formed in June through the merger of the TalkSport and Sport sales teams, has hired as client strategy director. Brown, a former sponsorship communications manager at Carat, joins UTV Pitch this week  to head a three-strong client strategy team. ()
