Wood joins from 4MAT.com, where he was head of digital marketing. Prior to that, he worked at search engine Ask Jeeves, where he was European search quality manager.

Reporting to TD Search director Chris Simpson, Wood will be responsible for driving traffic and brand-building for clients, as part of their overall integrated digital marketing campaigns.

Simpson said: "He [Wood] is eager to demonstrate the international search expertise we are capable of with current and prospective clients. SEO is at an exciting stage with us, consolidating our own International and local wins of last year and new deals across Europe this year."

In 2009, TradeDoubler rebranded its UK and France search businesses as TD Search, bringing it in line with the rest of TradeDoubler's TD Search businesses across Europe, as part of the integration of the IMW Group.

Reaching 18 countries across Europe, TradeDoubler claims to deliver 32 billion impressions per month, reaching 154 million unique users and generating 10 million leads every month.
