The UK fell into its customary meltdown over the weekend as temperatures plunged and snow covered much of the country – meaning a delivery of the stuff was likely to be the last thing anyone wanted.
TK Maxx’s creative agency, Wieden & Kennedy, responded to the turn of events with a second film, again voiced by Bill Nighy, that took control of the situation by acknowledging the changed circumstances. The new film will run on social channels.
It was created by Freddy Taylor, Andrew Bevan and Philippa Beaumont, and directed by Ian Pons Jewell through Friend London.
Taylor, Bevan and Beaumont said: "We didn't know whether to laugh or cry when blanket snow hit the UK, but when you bet against Mother Nature, you'd better have Bill Nighy on speed dial."
