The deal means that from today all of Tiscali's packages will be available at more than 500 Currys and 160 PC World stores around the UK.

"Working with DSGi, we will have the opportunity to showcase to consumers all over the UK all of our compelling Tiscali packages, including standalone broadband, broadband and voice, free- line rental and full triple-play with TV, for the first time."

Tiscali is looking for a buyer for its £450m UK business, which is the third largest DSL broadband provider in the UK with more than 1.8m customers, two thirds of whom take more than one service.
BSkyB is believed to be the frontrunner for the UK business after Carphone Warehouse abandoned its interest in bidding.
The Sunday Times reported last week that Sky has emerged as the favourite after Carphone Warehouse walked away from its bid. Tiscali UK has been up for sale since its Italian parent company launched a strategic review in February.
