Times teams with Fortnum & Mason

LONDON - A 20-page sampler of the Fortnum & Mason magazine will be inserted with copies of the Sunday Times this weekend to promote the retailer's 300-year anniversary.

The store magazine was launched as a tri-annual glossy earlier this year by Seven Squared at an annual cost of £7.35.

The sample publication has been placed in The Times to target couples and families aged between 30 and 45 with a high disposable income. In London and the South East, 100,000 copies of the sample will be inserted into the Sunday Times Style Magazine. Another 70,000 will go into popular food magazine Delicious on November 4.

Editorially, the title will focus on the retailer’s outdoor advertising campaign and its £24m store refurbishment.

Sean King, director at Seven Squared, said: “The magazine’s aim is to reach out to a new generation of customers, encouraging them to shop either in person or by mail order and online. This distribution deal targeting the Times and delicious readership in London and the surrounding region is the perfect way to reinforce that message.”
