News International, which owns Times Online, said the would feature holiday booking advice, flight and hotel information, classified travel ads, and up-to-date currency and weather information.
The website will include regularly updated content from The Times' travel columnists, which include Bel Mooney, Dom Joly and Michael Palin, and a piece by actress Minnie Driver on safari.
News International said the website's use of contextual ads would tie in with users' search results, increasing revenue generation.
Anne Spackman, Times Online editor-in-chief, said: "Users can choose holiday information by country, type of holiday, and subcategories within each type, such as diving or walking holidays, assisting you in finding information on the type of holiday you'd really like."
