The mobile network Three is angling for a viral hit in the same vein as 2013’s "the pony" with a new campaign featuring an 80s power anthem and a CGI cat. Wieden & Kennedy London created the TV spot, in which a girl mimes the words of Starship’s We Built This City as she cycles round a cul-de-sac with a cat in her bike basket. At one point, the cat joins in the singalong. Three has also launched a website – www.singitkitty.co.uk – on which users can create a personalised version of the ad using their own photos. The work was written by Chris Lapham, art directed by Aaron McGurk and directed by Traktor through Partizan.
