Telegraph whittles down to two for creative brief

LONDON - Telegraph Media Group (TMG) has shortlisted TBWA London partnered with Tequila, along with the combined team of Adam & Eve and AMP to a final shoot-out for its advertising and direct marketing account.

Rapier and Archibald Ingall Stretton have been knocked out of the pitch process, which is being overseen by Mike Moore, the executive director of consumer markets at TMG.

TMG said it expects to make a final decision on the appointment within the next fortnight.

The media group parted company with Clemmow Hornby Inge (CHI), which previously handled its above and below-the-line marketing, in December 2007.

TMG recently ditched Universal McCann and appointed Carat as its media buying agency for its £8m-a-year account.
