Lucy Norris, the former men's fashion account manager across Emap's male lifestyle brands FHM, Zoo and Arena, whose role became redundant in the publisher's recent restructure, joins as magazine sales executive.
Norris, who has also worked on The Independent, joins former Emap colleagues in the division, including agency sales director Andrew Morley and executive director Dave King.
The publisher is understood to have been in talks with further ex-Emap staff about commercial positions.
It has also expanded the digital sales team with the signing of Yahoo! sales executive Louise Goddard and Emma Burns, who was previously Hello!'s online ad sales manager, in sales executive roles.
Charlotte Hand has joined the Create sales team and will work across Telegraph Media Group's print and digital portfolio to deliver bespoke creative solutions for agencies. She was previously in Hachette Filipacchi's creative solutions team, working across Red and Psychologies magazines.
The new structure, branded Telegraph Media Solutions, consists of nine commercial hubs, each containing around 15 people, and aims to offer a better focus on agencies and clients. Four are agency focused, four aligned to key verticals of travel, recruitment, direct and property, and the ninth is a regional hub for Manchester.
Ken Breen, advertising operations director and former sales director of newspapers and online, is responsible for the hubs' performance.
The Telegraph's restructure reflects a growing trend among both media owners and media agencies as they look to make new media integral to their operations.
