Tapenade secures additional contract for The Royal International Air Tattoo

Food design and event management company Tapenade has extended its current contract with The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises for the next five years, which includes catering for military air show The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT).

For the past three years Tapenade has been supplying the catering for all 5,000 VIP hospitality clients, in chalets hosted by 20 organisations including Rolls-Royce, UTC Aerospace, Boeing, Marshalls, QinetiQ, Airbus Group and Saab. 

This year Tapenade is also catering for the Red Arrows team who will be attending the event and celebrating their 50th year. The event is held at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, and will run from 11-13 July this year. The contract will also include RIAT’s 100th anniversary year, which will be celebrated in 2018.

Tim Stevens, managing director of the Best Parties Ever group, of which Tapenade is a part of, said: "We’re really excited to have secured this five-year agreement and we’re looking forward to continuing our close working relationship with The Royal Air Force Charitable Trust Enterprises to make future RIATs a huge success."
