Talk Talk unveils new positioning as 'brighter' broadband

LONDON - Talk Talk next week unveils its first significant ad campaign under new UK marketing director Olivia Streatfeild, coinciding with the completion of its acquisition of Tiscali.

Talk Talk unveils new positioning as 'brighter' broadband

The Carphone Warehouse-owned broadband service will be positioned as Britain's ‘brighter phone and broadband company'.

A press and outdoor campaign by CHI & Partners breaks on 5 July with TV to follow in mid-August.

The www.talktalk.co.uk website will also be redesigned in light of the new creative and positioning.

The existing logo will be retained on customers' bills but the Talk Talk animated people have been dropped from communications.

The new creative features words and images created by ‘light graffiti' set against night-time backdrops across Britain, including Whitehall, Primrose Hill, Brighton beach and Canal Street in Manchester.

To launch the new campaign, TalkTalk has produced a manifesto focusing on keeping customers' bills low, making their lives simpler, and delivering the highest performing connection, which 90% of customers rate as better than other providers.
