Taco Bell links up with Sports Illustrated for online swimsuit shoot

LONDON - Taco Bell has linked up with Sports Illustrated magazine for an online campaign, which allows users to become the photographer and direct Brazilian swimsuit model Daniella Sarahyba.

Taco Bell's website, created by Draftfcb in Orange County, will be supported by print and online advertising, a media tour with Sarahyba, and an in-store promotion via Taco Bell's Hot Border sauce packets.

The campaign coincides with the launch of the 2008 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Visitors to the website will be able to direct Sarahyba in their own online photo shoot set on the beaches of Grand Cayman Island.

It features several scenes of exclusive footage that visitors will be able to choose from for the model's shoot including Sarahyba playing volleyball, lying on the beach and lounging in a hammock.

Users can select different angles and settings to capture the perfect shot of the Brazilian beauty.

The site also allows users to share their photos with friends by sending them a site link or downloading their own images.

David Ovens, chief marketing officer at Taco Bell, said: "DirectDaniella.com is a fun way to engage with our consumers online, getting them inside a swimsuit photo shoot.

"To grab their attention in-store, we're utilizing more than 208m limited-edition purple DirectDaniella.com Hot Border sauce packets during the promotion."
