Ormrod's appointment follows a restructure at the company designed to centralise the 40-strong marketing team, spearheaded by UK head of brand and communication Lysa Hardy and chief marketing officer Srini Gopalan.

The role of Sam Taylor, head of advertising and sponsorship at T-Mobile, has been made redundant. No more roles are expected to be lost in the changes.
